Actual weight lost is dependent on a number of factors. While we cannot guarantee any weight loss, many clients lose around 5% of their initial body weight. Over 12 weeks, it can be as high as 10%. This equates to a weight loss of 10–20 pounds for a 200 pound person. Everyone is different though and the most successful patients also work hard to make diet and lifestyle changes.

Side effects for GLP-1s may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, upset stomach, dizziness, constipation, feeling bloated, belching, gas, headaches and fatigue. Some side effects may subside after a few weeks of patient’s body getting used to the medication. EPatients may be eligible to receive prescription medication to help combat the side effects should they arise along with directions on dosage to help keep side effects to a minimum. In the most recent clinical trials, less than 5% of people discontinued GLP-1 medications because of side effects.
